Common questions.
Does CatchSync change my prices or stock on its own?
No. It watches and alerts. It only writes to your store when you click Revert, and then only to restore the last known-good value.
Can it stop another app from making a bad change?
No. Shopify doesn’t let one app intercept another app’s writes. CatchSync catches the change right after it lands and helps you undo it.
When will I be alerted?
Within seconds of Shopify sending the product or inventory update. Email alerts are on the Starter plan; Free shows alerts in the app.
What data does it store?
Product and variant IDs, titles, prices, inventory levels and the changes it flagged, plus your app settings and alert email. It stores no customer personal data. See the privacy policy.
What happens when I uninstall?
Shopify notifies us after uninstall, and we delete all data for your shop within 30 days.
